Gremlins blast KC Lutheran

Cassie Blackmore and Meghan Stratton scored two goals each Tuesday to lead the Sacred Heart girls soccer team to a 10-0 victory over Kansas City Lutheran.

The game, which was played in Kansas City, was called 13 minutes early because of the Gremlins’ 10-goal lead.

Kim Crank, Rachel Fritz, Maeghan Johnson, Megan Moore, Maddie Tague and Devin Wadley scored one goal apiece.

Goalkeeper Laura Hunkins turned away the only two shots she faced to earn the shutout for Sacred Heart, which improved to 7-11-1.
