ROUNDUP: Tennis Tigers ace out Clinton

The Smith-Cotton boys tennis team on Tuesday rolled to its second straight 8-1 victory.

A night after beating Knob Noster 8-1, the Tigers beat Clinton by the same score at Liberty Park.

Matt Roehrs beat Paul Henry 9-7, Chris Shepard beat Garett Brazil 8-1, Anthony Tsao beat Alex Jones 8-3, Dustin Bergman beat Andy Skaggs 8-6, and Josh Melton beat Nathan Suthoff 8-1.

James Glasscock won Clinton’s only match, beating Ryan Bell 8-5 in singles.

In doubles, Shepard-Roehrs beat Henry-Brazil 8-1, Tsao-Bell beat Jones-Skaggs 8-3, and Melton and Adam Tilley beat Glasscock-Suthoff 8-1.

Harrisonville 9, Knob Noster 0

In singles, Jake Long beat Conor Krause 8-0, Eric Boyd beat Brian Cass 8-4, Jeff Savage beat Ryan Brito 8-3, Ben Warner beat Andrew Cates 8-0, Christoph Knibbe beat Tim Madison 8-1 and A.J. Sutton beat Carlo Angeles 8-2.

In doubles, Long-Boyd beat Krause-Cass 8-0, Savage-Warner beat Brito-Cates 8-0 and Knibbe-Long beat Alec Ake and Angeles 8-2.
