Gremlin boys tennis team wins 9-0

The Sacred Heart Gremlins boys tennis team showed some muscle on Wednesday afternoon, sweeping Columbia Independent 9-0.

Alex Cline remained undefeated in singles play on the season with an 8-2 win over Kristian Robe, and Lakin Kehde defeated Sam Mitchell 8-5. Alec Schreiner followed up with an 8-5 win over Eli Peak, Evan Fluty beat Alex Chavez 8-2 and Brent Gerke and Dylan Young each won their matches by an 8-1 margin to round out singles play.

In doubles action, Cline and Kehde (No. 1 team) and Young and Oscar Gonzalez (No. 3) each won 8-2 and Fluty and Gerke (No. 2) won 8-4.
