Sacred Heart’s Alex Cline went 0-for-2 Friday in his first high school state tennis tournament.

He lost 6-2, 6-2 to Ryan Miller, of Webb City, in the first round and 6-2, 7-6 (6) to Cameron Smith, of Westminster Christian Academy, in the first round of the consolation bracket.
