S-C swimmer Sherman's season comes to an end

Ehan Sherman’s final shot at a state medal in the Missouri boys swimming and diving championships didn’t end the way he wanted.

Sherman, a senior, placed 19th in the 50-yard freestyle in 22.28 seconds, only .06 off his best time of the season.

Only the top eight advanced to the finals. The next eight will compete for the consolation prize today at St. Peters Rec-Plex.

Sherman was 34th in the 100 freestyle in 50.89. His best time was 50.04.

S-C freshman Derrick Kerbo will compete in the diving competition today.
